Lesley Arbour is a behavioral medicine specialist with more than 40 years of experience, including four decades dedicated to advancing Myofascial Release Pelvicology. With dual degrees in counseling and nursing, and board certification in psychiatric nursing, she brings a holistic, fascia-focused approach to the treatment of chronic pain, pelvic health, and the complex interplay between body and mind. Recognized as an Expert Practitioner on the John F. Barnes website, Lesley also co-authored pioneering research on incontinence that was published in Myofascial Release: The Search for Excellence.

Her practice is grounded in both clinical expertise and compassionate care. She emphasizes the essential role of open communication between therapist and client, creating a therapeutic space that is private, safe, and confidential. To further enrich her work, she recently completed a 40-hour certification in Pelvic Health Sex Counseling, ensuring her ability to support clients with the latest knowledge in both physical and emotional health.

As a former teacher and Acute Rehabilitation nurse, Lesley prioritizes education as a central part of healing. She provides patients with detailed handouts from each session—complete with charts, notes, and progress updates—empowering them to understand, track, and actively participate in their recovery. This combination of expert knowledge, clear communication, and personalized care allows her to honor each client’s individuality while fostering lasting change.
